Ahmed Martin is an Associate at NAI Miami | Fort Lauderdale, working from our Fort Lauderdale office with a focus on multifamily. With over 15 years of experience in development, construction, and finance, he has worked across private and nonprofit sectors, bridging the gap between developers, community organizations, financial institutions, and government agencies.
Ahmed’s career highlights include leadership roles in market-rate and affordable housing development, managing mixed-income communities, and overseeing projects worth over $600 million. Ahmed is a graduate of Wesleyan University and was honored as a Rockefeller Foundation CUREX scholar, completing an urban planning graduate program accredited by the University of Pennsylvania. He also participated in the Affordable Housing Community Scholar program at the University of Miami’s School of Civic Engagement, which educates emerging leaders on best practices in community development and affordable housing policy.
He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the U.S. Green Building Council, as a LEED Green Associate and an EcoDistricts Accredited Professional. Outside of work, he enjoys training for and competing in triathlons, demonstrating his commitment to personal excellence and perseverance.
