As a Partner at NAI Miami | Fort Lauderdale, Timothy Merriman Jr. helps property owners and investors structure and execute commercial real estate transactions throughout South Florida, including investment sales, office, industrial, and distressed/challenged assets.

Timothy’s foundation in finance and risk comes from early work with a national lender supporting REO, bankruptcy, asset recovery, and litigation analysis. That background strengthens his ability to evaluate complex scenarios, negotiate effectively, and guide clients through transactions with multiple moving parts.

He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Nova Southeastern University, a B.A. in Sociology at Shaw University, and has completed additional coursework in real estate development. Professionally, Timothy is active in leadership and service, including membership in the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC) and service on the Florida International University Real Estate Advisory Council, along with additional industry and community affiliations.
